Empowering Change: Your Path to Healing and Growth

Taking that first step towards counseling is a significant decision. It can often feel overwhelming. Therefore, it's essential to find a counselor you can connect with. This connection ensures a fulfilling counseling experience. My mission is to provide a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where you can truly be yourself. You'll feel seen, heard, and encouraged on your journey towards healing and personal growth.

Navigating Life's Challenges

Life has a unique way of surprising us. It presents unexpected circumstances and challenges along the way. I'm here to offer unwavering support as you navigate these experiences. I hold a special interest in addressing life changes, helping individuals manage anxiety and overcome depression, improving social relationships, enhancing self-esteem, and addressing body image concerns. I also have experience working with adolescents and young adults. If you desire, I can provide faith-based counseling to those seeking it.

Tailored Treatment Plans

Our journey together involves creating a personalized treatment plan. This plan is uniquely tailored to your specific needs. Together, we explore and develop coping techniques. These techniques not only serve you during our counseling sessions but are also practical and applicable to your everyday life.

My Approach and Educational Background

My counseling approach is integrative. I draw from various therapeutic methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and person-centered therapy. We may also incorporate creative arts and mindfulness practices, to manage and cope with life's stressors.

I have a Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I am currently under the supervision of Cheryl Butler, MA, LPC-S (67755).

We may be a good fit if...
