About erin
Choosing to start counseling can be a challenging step. I recognize that each client has a unique experience, so it is important to me that my counseling approach is collaborative and client-led. Clients are involved in treatment decisions and clients' voices are heard throughout the entire counseling process. Together we create a safe place for healing, growth, exploration, and discovery.
My Goal as Your Counselor
In a nonjudgmental environment, I aim to assist clients in feeling empowered to cope with current challenges, create a more fulfilling present, explore new perspectives, and obtain overall wellness goals.
Specialization and Experience
My experiences in private practice and university settings include assisting clients with concerns related to anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, and trauma. Further, I have experience in career counseling, working with veterans, and with clients struggling with women’s issues. I work with individuals, aged 12 and older. Additionally, I have a special focus on working with LGBTQIA+/queer and trans clients and sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) related concerns.
